Hello friends! It's been a while since this comment section has seen any action so I figured I'd show some sign of life.
I'm still very proud of this game and it's still every bit as fun as when it released. I'm thankful that people still buy it, play it and have fun with it. If that includes you, then thank you very much!
Does buying here grant me a Steam key as well? I assume the percentage to developers is higher here than on Steam, so I'm trying to make a conceited effort to buy here first! :)
Hi! If you buy it on Itch and message me, I'll send you a Steam key :) (This goes for anyone reading this in the future as well) I do indeed make a little more money on an Itch sale but it's complicated. Steam has local prices that are sometimes higher than the USD price so if you're from Switzerland maybe I'd make more on Steam. If you buy on Steam and leave a review, that's also valuable. (I wish consumers didn't have to think about this)
EDIT Future purchases will come with a Steam key automatically.
Thank you Jerry for getting back to me so quickly! I just bought the game here, and am glad to support your development skills! I live in the United States, so Steam would definitely be the worse option.
I'm still thinking about Totem Teller time and again, and it made me come across Kavel. The rules are refreshing, balanced, neatly designed, and the visual effects are like eye candy. It has kept me engaged as I try to refine my strategies for casual mode.
If you care to send a steam key, I'd be glad to leave a review over there!
Thank you for the kind words. I'm still working on Totem Teller, it's been a journey which will have an end, don't worry. How can I reach you to send the key?
Hmm, that's not ideal to hear but I don't think there's anything I can do about it :( I see that you've purchased the game here (wow, thanks!) but if you'd rather play on Steam I don't mind giving you a Steam key. Just let me know.
I think it may have been user error actually. I m,ay have search Kaval instead of Kavel. As tempting as it is to say yes to a Steam key, I'd feel bad about it so I'll buy it later in the month.
I'll also be covering the game on a future podcast for Mental Health Gaming. Such a good concept that works wonderfully well.
Ok, if you change your mind let me know and please let me know when the podcast is out, I'd love to check it out. I'm easiest to reach on Twitter (https://twitter.com/JerryVerhoeven) or here should also work.

Thank you for your support. I hope you have fun with the game and to see you on the leaderboards soon!
Excellent! Definitely excited to try your game after work tonight!
How do I check messages on here? Don't think I had anything sent from you.
I've emailed you the key, enjoy :)

I don't worry much, what you shared of Totem Teller already felt like a gift. Whatever happens next, I'll be there to see!
You can reach me at contact at oriane dot ink. Thanks!
Key sent. Thank you!
Will there be a Steam version at any point. I'll resist port begging at thisd point though.
The game is available on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1414530/Kavel/
The Steam version has Leaderboards and Achievements integrated with the Steam backend.
On Steam it's also available on OSX/Mac.
Odd, when I searched in Steam nothing came up. Thanks! Added ti the wishlist
